WHO WE ARE
Sherrillyn Lim is a California licensed attorney with Lim Law Offices, a San Diego law firm committed to providing personalized client care and legal representation in the areas of Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, etc.), Probate, California Domestic Partnerships, Guardianships, Conservatorships and Bankruptcy.
Sherrillyn Lim was born in Singapore. She attended San Diego State
University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International
Business with an emphasis in Finance. After graduating from San Diego State,
Ms. Lim worked for a Taiwanese multinational corporation at the maquiladora in
Tijuana, Mexico as a member of the international business and customs office.
Ms. Lim attended California Western School of Law, where she was Treasure of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. While in law school, she was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship Award, the Russell Thrasher Memorial Scholarship Award by the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and the Wiley Manual Award by the State Bar of California. Her article, "The US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement: Fostering Confidence and Commitment in Asia" was published in the California Western International Law Journal. Ms. Lim served as a legal intern at the Southwest Center for Asian Pacific American Law, and for the U.S. Department of Commerce in the United States Embassy, in Singapore.
Prior to forming Lim Law Offices, Ms. Lim served as the Special Assistant to the San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector, the Honorable Dan McAllister.
She is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.
